🔍 Position: Assistant Station Master Gr-I (BPS-10)
📢 Vacancy Announcement:
Pakistan Railways Sukkur Division is seeking applications from retired Station Masters/Assistant Station Masters to join as Assistant Station Master Gr-I (BPS-10) on a contract basis for a period of one year.
📋 Details:
- Number of Vacancies: 50
- Age Limit: Maximum 62 years up to the closing date for application submission.
- Location: Anywhere within the jurisdiction of Sukkur Division as determined by the competent authority.
- Contract Period: One year from the date of assumption/charge of duty.
- Pay: Minimum of the relevant pay scale with annual increments.
- Allowances: As per rules applicable to civil servants.
🚫 Eligibility:
Applicants who have been retired compulsorily or on medical grounds, removed, or dismissed from service will not be eligible for this appointment.
📃 Terms and Conditions:
- This contract appointment does not grant placement in the gradation/seniority list of the cadre/group to which the post belongs.
- All leave at your credit will lapse upon contract termination.
- Service under this contract does not qualify for pension or gratuity.
- No contribution towards GP Fund is required.
- You will be governed by government rules and instructions for civil servants.
- Civil Servants (Appeals) Rule-1977, with amendments, if any, shall apply.
- The appointment may be terminated on 30 days' notice or payment of one month's basic pay.
- You may be employed in any manner required by the appropriate authority without additional remuneration.
- The rules/regulations applicable to Federal Civil Servants shall apply to other matters not specified in this contract.
- Contract employees are not entitled to government accommodation but may receive house rent allowances as prescribed by the government.

- Three passport-size photographs
- Copy of CNIC
- Copy of Railway ID Card
- Photocopy of Pension Proforma/Authority Letter
- Service Certificate

5. Applications must be submitted by registered post; hand-delivered applications will not be accepted.
6. The last date for application submission is September 25, 2023.
If you meet the eligibility criteria and accept the terms and conditions, please send your written confirmation on a stamp paper worth Rs. 50/- duly attested by an Oath Commissioner and counter-signed by the First-Class Magistrate by registered post or in person.
Please note:
- Failure to convey acceptance and resume duty within the specified time will result in the cancellation of the appointment.
- Selected candidates will undergo a prescribed Medical Fitness Examination from the Divisional Medical Officer, Sukkur.
- The Competent Authority reserves the right to reject any application without providing a reason.
- No TA/DA will be provided for interview, medical examination, or other formalities.
