Karakoram International University in Gilgit Baltistan is seeking to hire Security Guards, both male and female, with and without arms for its Main Campus in Gilgit. If you're interested, please read the following criteria and submission details:
Criteria:
1. Security Companies/Agencies must be registered with a valid license to operate and should have at least 10 years of experience.
2. The Security Company must have a complete work profile with a head office/regional office in Gilgit-Baltistan.
3. Male security guards must be ex-army personnel with a good service record.
4. The upper age limit for security guards is a maximum of 45 years.
5. Security guards must be medically fit with sound mental health and should have no disabilities.
6. Security guards must have knowledge of operating all kinds of arms.
7. Individuals discharged on disciplinary grounds are not eligible.
Terms and Conditions:
1. The tender should be sealed.
2. The bidding procedure will follow PPRA's Para 36(b), which is the "Single Stage two-envelope bidding procedure for technical and financial bids."
3. Rates of pay for security guards with and without arms per month should be clearly mentioned.
4. The University reserves the right to reject/cancel the tender as per Clause 33 of Public Procurement Rules, 2004.
5. Sealed bids should reach the office of the undersigned by September 19, 2023 (11:00 AM) by registered courier, which will be opened in the presence of the committee members and bidders at 11:30 AM on the same date.
6. Ambiguous, conditional, and void bids are liable to be rejected.
7. The contract is extendable for further periods with mutual consent.
